In addition to the Annual College Scholarship Program, WMSALSA holds an Annual WMSALSA Scholarship Golf Tournament each year to raise more money for scholarships. This event has become one of the highest recognized fundraising events in San Antonio. Typically, counselors have contributed to fundraising by volunteering their time to work the event in a number of functions. The counselor's presence is encouraged because they have done such an outstanding job in the past and because their presence is a constant reminder of why the participants in the tournament are there - to raise money for scholarships.
